When Your Breathing Changes — Does Your Body Panic?
If changes in your breath make you tense, worried, or fearful — even when tests say “you’re okay” — you’re not alone.
Your body has learned to treat breathing sensations as a threat.
I help women over 40 — with or without asthma or COPD — interrupt the panic-breath cycle so breathing feels safe again.
This isn’t about controlling your breath.
It’s about retraining your nervous system so ordinary sensations no longer trigger fear.

A Thoughtful, Whole- System Approach
This work recognizes that breathing fear is rarely just about the lungs.
It’s shaped by the nervous system, lived experiences, past health scares, and the way the body learns to stay on alert when breathing feels unpredictable.
As a respiratory therapist and breathwork facilitator, I bring an understanding of how breathing works and how fear becomes wired into the body. Rather than focusing on fixing or controlling symptoms, we focus on helping the nervous system feel safe enough to soften its grip.
This approach is gentle, collaborative, and paced with care. We use body-based practices, awareness, and supportive movement to build familiarity and trust — so breathing no longer requires constant monitoring or effort.
Over time, this allows confidence to return naturally.
Not by pushing harder, but by teaching the body it no longer needs to brace.
Supportive care. Thoughtful guidance. At a pace that respects your body and your life.

Care Led By Experience
When breathing feels unpredictable, confidence and freedom often shrink right along with it.
You don’t just want to understand what’s happening in your body.
You want to trust yourself again.
You want to move through your day without fear.
You want to live fully — not cautiously.
That’s where this work begins.
I support women who are ready to stop letting breathing fear dictate their lives and start rebuilding a sense of safety and confidence in their bodies. Through compassionate guidance, practical breathing support, and nervous-system–informed practices, you learn how to meet breathing sensations with clarity instead of panic.
My role isn’t to fix you or push you through discomfort.
It’s to walk beside you as your body learns — through experience — that it no longer needs to stay on high alert.
With a background in respiratory care, breathwork, and wellness coaching, I bring together physiological understanding and body-based support in a way that honors your full experience — not just symptoms or test results.
You don’t need another explanation of what’s wrong.
You need understanding, reassurance, and a path forward that respects your body and your life.
Together, we focus on helping breathing feel safer, calm feel more accessible, and life feel open again — on your terms.i

Reaching out for support
can feel like a big step — especially if you’ve felt dismissed, rushed, or overwhelmed in the past.
Our first conversation is a chance to slow things down and talk through what’s been happening for you. We’ll discuss your breathing concerns, your goals, and whether this approach feels like a good fit for where you are right now.
There’s no pressure to commit and no expectation to have everything figured out. This is simply a space to ask questions, be heard, and explore next steps together.
If we decide to move forward, our work is collaborative and paced with care. We focus on building understanding, confidence, and practical tools you can use in daily life — adjusting along the way as your needs change.
